Anabezi luxury safari camp is situated on a ridge above the Zambezi River. The camp stretches out into the African landscape, sheltered under the shade of a Winterthorn grove, at the edge of the Zambezi floodplain.
Anabezi Luxury Safari Camp with stunning features that blend effortlessly into the surrounding wilderness.
Anabezi Luxury Safari Camp communal guest areas boast two spacious lounge and dining areas, raised above the bush on wooden decks to allow the resident game to roam naturally around the grounds. The living and dining areas stretch seamlessly towards an infinity pool that overlooks the magnificent Zambezi River, the Mushika riverbed and the wildlife that traverse its watery deltas.
These shared spaces provide guests with the unique opportunity to look for game from the comfort of the lodge. As evening descends over the Lower Zambezi, the fire-pit glows, an invitation for our guests to immerse themselves in the African dusk, sharing a sundowner and stories of the bush with fellow visitors.
The guides at Anabezi Luxury Safari Camp set a new standard for guiding, as they know all the holes and gullies of the area. Both the Zambezi River and the Mushika River attract copious wildlife, and the ability to spot animals while cruising down the river in a boat will add a whole new dimension to your safari experience. Up-close-and-personal encounters with elephants, hippos and large herds of buffalo and zebra are ‘business as usual’ at Anabezi Camp.
Not only will the guides here seek the Big Five for you (do expect some breathtaking leopard and lion sightings), they will also take time to point out other, more intimate gems of the bush, painting you a complete picture of what the Lower Zambezi is all about.
Walking safaris into the Kulefu woodlands are also a great way to discover secrets of this land, making your experience all the more encompassing. And are you a bird-enthusiast? Use the plentiful photographic opportunities to capture a portrait collection of the enormous variety of birds. Together with game drives and canoeing on the Zambezi River, you will leave with ever-lasting memories.
