10 Day Kruger to Cape Luxury Escape

The aircraft will depart from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport. The flight should take 1-2 hours landing in Tmbavati Game Reserve. An open aired land cruiser will pick you up from the airstrip and take you to the lodge.

On arrival at Kings Camp, you will get a brief camp orientation and then checked into your room. There will be time to freshen up and enjoy a light snack before you set off on a sunset safari drive in the Timbavati Reserve. Once arrival back at the lodge you can enjoy on a refreshing drink or coffee at the lodge dining area before sitting down to dinner. After dinner you may retreat to your air-conditioned suite after the eventful day.

Each morning will see you get a wakeup call from your guide or camp manager and you have time to prepare for the day before making our way down to the dining area for tea and coffee served with biscuits.

Your morning game drive will depart the lodge. You will have the opportunity to spot the Big 5 animals like Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo, as well as an array of antelope and other wildlife animals on your morning safari drive. On your return to the lodge a hot breakfast awaits. During the day you may relax in the pool, on your viewing deck, enqiure about other activities that the lodge might offer. After high tea you set off again through on a sunset/night safari drive.

Arriving back at the lodge you are treated to a South African meal under the stars. This normally includes, chicken, beef and lamb grilled to perfection on an open fire or as a stew with salads, fresh bread rolls, soup of the day and a local desert. It’s been a long day and after dinner enjoy an early night’s rest in your air-conditioned chalet.

Day 3 of your adventure closely mirrors the experiences of Day 2. However, as you traverse the wilderness, you'll gradually add more unique species to your checklist, inching closer to the thrill of spotting the illustrious Big Five and beyond. Day 5 of your expedition bears a striking resemblance to the adventures of Day 4. Yet, with each passing day, you continue to mark off additional species on your checklist, bringing you nearer to the exhilarating pursuit of encountering the renowned Big Five and a diverse array of wildlife.
