This safari holiday tour combines three of Zambia’s most popular safari and adventure destinations; Victoria Falls, Lower Zambezi National Park and South Luangwa National Park with Likoma Island in Malawi.

Embark on an incredible two-week trip to combining three of Zambia’s top destinations; Livingstone (Victoria Falls), the Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa National park. In this fantastic tour you will get to discover three of Zambia’s most famous wildlife parks. You will spend your days in the African bush enjoying the wild landscapes whilst spotting fantastic game.

Following 10 nights on safari in Zambia you will fly to Likoma Island in Malawi and stay at the beautiful Kaya Mawa.

Day 1-5: Victoria Falls Waterfront, Livingstone (Zambia)

Welcome to Zambia! After flying into Lusaka you will board a flight to Livingstone Airport, once you arrive in Livingstone you will be greeted by our guide who will transfer you to the lodge.

The Victoria Falls Waterfront is the perfect place to stay in Livingstone, centrally located in between Livingstone town and The Victoria Falls.

The lodge boasts fantastic facilities catering to a travellers every need including a riverside restaurant and bar with stunning views over the Zambezi River – the perfect spot for a sundowner. A varied mix of accommodation includes en-suite chalets, permanent tents and a campsite

Day 5-8: Baines River Camp, Lower Zambezi

After breakfast at the Victoria Falls Waterfront you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport to catch your flight to Lusaka and then onto the Royal Airstrip ahead of your next destination… Baine’s River Camp

Baines’ River Camp offers the ultimate safari combination of luxury and and game viewing making it the best place to visit in the Lower Zambezi.

This true Colonial-style safari lodge, named after the famous artist and explorer Thomas Baines, offers a wide variety of activities in and around the Lower Zambezi National Park, including specialized photographic workshops, fly-fishing clinics, elephant studies and birding weeks, each hosted by internationally renowned expert guides who are passionate about the African bush and their subject.

You will feel at home from the moment you arrive at Baines’ River Camp. This luxurious and intimate safari lodge is set amid Tamarind and Jackalberry trees and can accommodate up to 20 guests. You can choose between King and Twin Suites and our private two-bedroom Baines Cottage is ideal for young families. On arrival, a friendly face awaits you in the Selous Bar with a refreshing drink before you unpack and get ready for your first activity. Or you may prefer to just take in the scenery and settle down with your binoculars on our main verandah to gaze over the Zambezi, Africa’s fourth largest river.

Day 8-11: Kafunta River Lodge, South Luangwa

It is time to take flight once again, next stop Mfuwe Airport via Lusaka Airport.

Kafunta River Lodge is a classic Zambian safari lodge, combining all the essentials for a great safari, including its spectacular location at the edge of the floodplain. Beyond the plain, lies the Luangwa River – one of the best game viewing areas in the magical South Luangwa National Park.

This is indeed the premier park in Zambia and one of the best national parks in all of Africa. The lodge was fully renovated in 2019 and offers a relaxed atmosphere and great attention to details. We love what we do and we can’t wait to share this with you!

During your stay in South Luangwa you’ll be able to partake in 2 safari activities per day you can choose between a game drive or walking safari, both offering a fantastic opportunity to get closer to nature.

Day 11-13: Kaya Mawa, Lake Malawi

With its almost supernatural vibe, there is nowhere else on earth quite like Kaya Mawa. Hidden away on Likoma Island in Lake Malawi, at Kaya Mawa you will be transported into a world of simple pleasures. Embraced by the warmth and hospitality of the enchanting Malawian staff you will enjoy timeless luxury and only the best of modern conveniences.

Each of Kaya’s eleven rooms, and private villa is unique and offers something very special. Serene and secret decks for sunbathing or romantic dinners; secluded lakeside chalets with private lounges. You may find yourself showering under the stars, taking a midnight dip in your private pool or simply walking hand-in-hand after moonlit supper on the beach.

Kaya Mawa Lodge is situated on the Likoma Island 12 kilometers from the Mozambican side of Lake Malawi. The easiest way to get to Kaya Mawa Lodge is by a private charter plane from Lilongwe.
