The ultimate Maun to Mahe or bush and beach package as it is fondly known,  showcases the diversity and beauty of Mother Nature – from the wading elephants and wildlife of the plains of the Okavango Delta to the dolphins, turtles and colourful fish of the Indian Ocean..

Explore the Okavango Delta: This is your chance to explore Botswana’s prized jewel, the Okavango Delta. Over 11 000 km3 of seasonal floodwater travels from the neighboring Angola Highlands to fill this inland river basin to create a home to more than 2 000 plants, 450 bird, 65 fish and over 200 000 large mammal species.

A wild adrenalin rush: Known as the predator capital of the world, this package includes time in the Moremi Game Reserve. The wildlife viewing here is exceptional and includes lion, leopard, spotted hyena and cheetah and African wild dogs. This strong presence of predators is supported by the abundance of prey.

Experience the best of bush and beach: This is a journey of contrasts. You will go from witnessing wading elephants and colourful reed frogs in the Okavango Delta in Botswana to swimming with dolphins in warm tropical waters filled with colourful fish and living coral off Alphonse Island in the Seychelles.

Soak up Alphonse Island: Forming part of the Seychelles archipelago and lying just North-East of Madagascar, Alphonse Island is a tropical treat. Over 50% of the total land area is under natural conservation which is not only a world record, it offers an untamed environment in which to swim with fish, dolphins, snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing and more.

PLEASE NOTE: Flights departing Johannesburg on Saturday arrive in Mahé too
late for the connecting flight to Alphonse, therefore guests will arrive in Mahé on
Friday and overnight at Eden Bleu Hotel on a B&B basis.

Days 1 - 4

Machaba Camp: Khwai Region – Okavango Delta – Botswana

The understated, ‘50s-style Machaba Camp is located in the game-rich 180,000ha Khwai concession of the Okavango Delta adjacent the Moremi Game Reserve.

The Machaba tree is aptly considered the tree of life and the camp is a lively place because of them. With game-viewing and bird-watching around Machaba Camp always an exciting experience that offers plenty to see at every turn.

Accommodation at Machaba strikes the perfect balance between class and comfort with 10 Luxury Tents nestled in the treeline along the Khwai River and overlooking the gorgeous Moremi Game Reserve.

Each tent features an en-suite bathroom, living area and an intimate and romantic outdoor shower. Children are always welcome at Machaba and with two of the tents catering specifically to families.

Explore the magnificent environment on game drives, walking safaris and mokoros (traditional dugout canoe).

Then indulge on some bush pampering in the privacy of your suite or just soak up the sights and sounds of the magnificent African bush.

Days 4 - 7

Gomoti Plains Camp: Gomoti Waterway – Okavango Delta – Botswana

Situated on the edge of the Gomoti River system and floodplains in the centre of the Okavango Delta.

Gomoti Plains Camp is nestled into evergreen riparian woodland with the central area featuring a beautifully outfitted large mess tent full of colour and style.

Housing the dining area and lounge and a perfect spot to relax in between morning and afternoon activities.

Accommodation is in ten classic safari tents (two of which are family tents). Each tent is tastefully furnished with safari-style décor and is equipped with stunning teak chairs and a wardrobe.

All raised on wooden decks and the tents boast great views of the floodplains beyond and also each room has a shaded veranda.

Game drives take you along the river system and floodplains or you can choose to take to the water in a mokoro canoe.

Glide along the tranquil waterways and enjoy the Delta and its wildlife from a different angle – a wonderful tranquil way to explore the waterways.

Day 7 - 8

Eden Bleu Mahé – Seychelles

The Eden Bleu hotel is located on Eden Island, off the coast of Mahé, only 10 minutes from Seychelles International Airport and 5 km from the capital, Victoria.

Alphonse Island: Alphonse Atoll – Seychelles

Seven degrees South of the Equator and 400 kilometers South-West of Mahe.
