Goliath Safari Camp is situated in a shaded grove on the banks of the Zambezi River with 7  East-African style tents. Reminiscent of an “Out of Africa” era, the tented camp blends seamlessly into the bush whilst still offering guests a luxurious experience.

There are beds with comfortable mattresses, high-quality linen and mosquitos nets to provide for a well-deserved rest after many miles of walking. There are hot outdoor showers, flush toilets and running water in the basins. The entire camp area has soft river sand to walk on and guests can enjoy a casual and barefoot stay!

There is a large campfire area to enjoy stories under brightly-starred nights as well as braai nights with chef Stretch himself, a covered public lounge area and an al-fresco dining room. Only 12 guests at a time are catered for in the camp, so there is more than ample space and privacy for all.

Goliath Safari Camp is owned by Stretch Ferreira, who has been guiding in Mana Pools for more than 35 years. Goliath is a small intimate tented camp in a beautiful grove of shady trees on the banks of the Zambezi River. The location is roughly in the middle section of the Zambezi as it makes its way through Mana Pools.

Accommodation & Facilities
Goliath Camp consists of seven Meru style safari tents with en-suite bathrooms, flush loos and outside showers. The camp has a lounge and bar tent, an open breakfast room, and several locations for taking dinner. The camp has a stunning location which makes it very rewarding to simply relax and watch elephant, buffalo, waterbuck, and a myriad of birdlife as it enjoys the waters of the river.

Wildlife & Activities
Stretch and his team are known for outstanding walking and canoe safaris, and the guides here know the individual animals who share the park with them. They will show guests some of the finest wildlife viewing in Africa during a stay at Goliath Camp, whether on foot, in a canoe or in a vehicle.
