Day 1 :

Arrival in Mfuwe

Your journey begins as you board a domestic flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe Airport, which serves as the gateway to South Luangwa National Park.

Upon arrival at Mfuwe Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your safari team, who will be your guides and companions throughout the adventure. A comfortable vehicle will transfer you to Flatdogs Camp, your home for the first leg of the safari.

Check-in at Flatdogs Camp and get settled into your well-appointed accommodation.
Enjoy a sumptuous welcome dinner, where you can meet your fellow travelers and discuss the exciting days ahead.

Day 2 :

South Luangwa National Park - Flatdogs Camp

Wake up before dawn for an exhilarating early morning game drive. This is when the wildlife in South Luangwa is most active, and you have a higher chance of encountering predators and other fascinating animals.

After the game drive, return to the camp for a hearty breakfast.

Take advantage of some leisure time during the midday heat to rest, swim in the camp's pool, or perhaps enjoy a good book while soaking in the natural surroundings.
In the late afternoon, embark on another game drive to witness the park's nocturnal wildlife.

Dinner will be served at the camp, where you can share stories of the day's sightings and experiences.

Day 3 :

South Luangwa National Park - Flatdogs Camp

An early start leads to another morning game drive or an adventurous walking safari. Both options offer unique perspectives on the park's flora and fauna.
Midday brings a delightful bush picnic in the heart of South Luangwa, surrounded by the untamed wilderness.
Spend the hottest part of the day at the camp, relaxing and enjoying the amenities provided.
As the sun starts to set, set out on an evening game drive to observe the park's nocturnal creatures.
Return to the camp for a delicious dinner under the African night sky.

Day 4 :

South Luangwa National Park - Flatdogs Camp

The day begins with another early morning game activity, offering a chance to spot different wildlife and enjoy the cool morning air.
After the activity, head back to the camp for brunch and a leisurely break.
You may have the option to visit a local village or participate in a community project to gain insights into the culture and traditions of the area.
In the evening, embark on a final game drive in South Luangwa, followed by a delightful dinner at the camp.

Day 5 :

Transfer to Luambe National Park

After one last morning adventure in South Luangwa National Park and a hearty breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to Flatdogs Camp.
A transfer will take you to Mfuwe Airport for a short flight to Luambe National Park.
Upon landing in Luambe, you'll be greeted by the staff at Luambe Camp, your home for the next leg of the safari.
Settle into your accommodation and take in the tranquil beauty of this pristine wilderness.

Day 6 :

Luambe National Park - Luambe Camp

The day begins with a morning game drive or walking safari in Luambe National Park, offering a chance to explore this remote and untouched area.
After the morning adventure, return to the camp for a well-deserved lunch and relaxation by the Luangwa River.
In the afternoon, head out for another game activity to discover the unique landscapes and wildlife of Luambe.

Day 7 :

Departure

A transfer will take you back to Mfuwe Airport for your return flight to Lusaka.
